The Elks MC continues to grow...

The EMC has recently been contacted by lodges from several areas of the US inquiring about how to run Elks Motorcycle Committees within their own lodge.  As many members know, the EMC has undergone significant changes over the past 2 years and we're working hard to develop a new set of guidelines that lodges can use as a starting point for their Motorcycle Committees.  Questions about items such as member requirements (focused primarily around safety), insurance issues, committee policies and other common areas of interest are actively under development by our current EMC members. Remember, bylaws are lodge-specific and must be finalized at the lodge level.  We're simply working to help get the basics made available to all in a consistent manner that helps to save you time and effort in developing your own committee.  If you have ideas, questions or comments about this topic, please email This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. Great Attendance at the October Roundtable

This past week's meeting of the Elkc Motorcycle Committee was attended by 20 lodges, covering most of Central and Nothern NJ.   Our attendance continues to grow as we work hard to further improve the efforts of our Committee within the Elks community.  Our next meeting will be held in Closter on January 6th at 8pm. This meeting may terminate with a holiday party, so please keep posted for more information about our plans for the evening.  Until then - safe riding!  We have a very busy calendar through the end of the year.  Check the schedule for regular updates.
